Installation 2010

After a series of hectic and busy days, our Installation for the year was successfully carried out on the 12th of Nov 2010!

Our theme for the year was chosen and finalized! We give you...

 Yes, GERMINATION :D

As you can see, we were looking towards an out-of-the-box and unique theme for the year (:

Basically, as our Club Service Director, Jon Ho, mentioned in his speech during the event, the word germination means to rise and to grow. So for this year's installation, we aim to rise up as an active club that is works together as one big family and to grow into greater heights to serve the community with the motto Service Above Self.

The event took place at our school's old hall and we had guests from our sister schools SS17 and SMKSU and clubs such as Leo and Eco Rangers.

So, lets see a quick photo recap of the whole event!

Interact Party 2010

Greetings! ^__^

This is officially going to be the second post for Interact Smk Seafield newly re-created blog :D *applause*

To celebrate this erm..occasion, an update on Interact Party which was held on the 6th of Nov at USJ 2 padang (where they sell the roasted duck! yummm) will be posted!

So, thanks to our boss *cough*Kaelan*cough* there were about 1000+ people invited -.-

Sadly, it was too last minute so not many could make it. But, we still had a blast! (:

Because us assistants love our bosses sooo much, special invites were handed out to the VVIPs (:

Example: Mr. President, Kaelan Ong

The assistants were in charge of this party, but we were having difficulties and a series of really unfortunate events. Thank god we have awesome directors who were so nice to help out! Big thanks to Jon and also Kaelan!

So we started off the day by....

filling up the water balloons!! :DD

For those of you who plan to have water balloon fights.... good luck filling them up xP We had such a hard time getting the balloons done. And my gosh, a whole pail of plump water-filled balloons is SUPER HEAVY! After..hmm maybe 2 hours?? We have...

Our achievement!!

Well, enough about the water balloon as those were to be played last :P First we had our ice breaker game! I have no idea what its call..so i'll just call it the Guess-Who-Is-On-The-Other-Side game! (:

Our 'magical' blanket (garbage bag taped together!)

Guide to play this game :
1. Split the guest into two groups
2. Give them a few minutes to get to know each other while u (desperately) tape the (garbage bag) plastics together to create a big blanket.
3. Send one member out from each team for every round. They will hide behind each side of the (so called) blanket.
4. Drop the blanket and the person who guess the other person's name the fastest..WINS!

This game is SUPER fun :D Some of the guests who didnt know each other were simply throwing random names. Lesson learnt, know your people! :P

After that we had the LIMBO and BALLOON PUMP.. Due to the hyperness of everyone playing these games, no pictures are provided. Sorry for the inconvenience :P

Of course, what party can be complete without FOOD ^__^ We made it a potluck so everyone could enjoy different types of food.. We had KFC, pizza, fried meehoon, cheesecake, karipaps, mutton curry, etc.

Another thing that a party can never be complete without.. SS session! :D

VVIPs Xhee Kee, Diane who's also our Ex-President, and Shauna

Everyone say CHEESE!

CHEESEEEEEEE :D

The older people :DD

The younger people x)

Girls being girls..

Guys being...well...guys :P

Our very own president, Kaelan with VVIP Shauna (:

I sincerely apologize if any photos of anyone of you that attended are not posted here!

If any of you are interested to check out more photos, clicky here :

Ohh and we also had PINATA! Introducting the victim of the evening,

Mr. Pumpkin!

And you know whats cool about Mr, Pumpkin?

He can change faces :PP

Story of Mr. Pumpkin's life.. He was created in 2 weeks, admired for a few minutes, destroyed by a few hits xD

But Mr. Pumpkin put up a great fight as it took 3 people who beat him up badly. Alas, it was our very own May Yean who ninjitsu him until poor Mr. Pumpkin's head fell apart ): Well, atleast he had sweets and lollipops to share with us!

And now, we jump all the way to the WATER BALLOON FIGHT!!

Remember to always stretch before a big fight! ;)

And it begins! Awesome camera effect!

Thats Min Yi with a balloon..WATCH OUT!

"weeeee!!" says the flying red balloon :P

I wonder what she's doing with that bucket of water O.O

Look at all the balloons on the floor!

As you can imagine, we had a blast..literally :P

Balloon fights are NEVER over-rated! Seafield's Interact has obviously proven that (:

The party ended with everyone drying their wet hair, clothes and BIG SMILES :D Not to forget, Chinese New Year fireworks (lol!) thanks to our friends,

Chee Kin and the gang!

Before this post comes to an end, Interact would like give a BIGG THANKS to everyone who attended! Our Ex-Bod, Seniors, Interactors from other schools and Guests.

Would also like to thank Jon Ho, our camera-man for the day (thats why Jon's not in 99.999% of the pictures xD) And also for these awesome photos, as most of them are yours heeheee.. Credits to you (:

Muahaha, i manage to find this picture of you!

Its safe to say that overall..the day was a SUCCESS thanks to everyone~

Ciou! (:
